Hierzu sei erst “eine Veränderung und neue Programmierung der bisher genutzten Software des Leistungsanbieters erforderlich”. Dies würde aber weitere “Kosten in Höhe von etwa 80.000 € verursachen”. Damit die Abgeordneten dennoch ihre Kontrollbefugnis ausüben können, müssten Ermittlungsakten händisch ausgewertet werden. Die Polizei in Niedersachsen lehnt das ab.”
